COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Patient Update

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our Community has been through many challenges over the last few months due to COVID-19 and all of us are looking forward to resuming our usual routine of treating you in our office. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety and your dental health.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your previous visits with us. We will continue to follow the most updated infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA). We will be adhering to these guidelines to ensure optimal safety for both our patients and our staff.

If you have a canceled appointment with us due to COVID-19 please be patient with us as we are working as hard as we can to accommodate everyone’s appointments. We will be contacting you to get you scheduled

You can expect the following changes when it comes time for your next appointment:

  • Prior to your appointment, our front desk will contact you and review a series of screening questions. These questions must be answered 48 hours prior to your appointment in order to keep the appointment.
  • Our waiting room will be closed – please wait in your car
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment, stay in your car, and call our office to receive additional information on how to proceed.
  • Your temperature will be taken by a non-contact thermometer prior to your appointment.
  • When you come into our office, we require you to wear a face mask/covering.
  • Only scheduled patients will be allowed in the office unless additional assistance is needed for medical purposes.
  • All minors are only allowed to be accompanied by ONE adult.
  • If you have done any traveling outside of Michigan or went to any high risk areas you will be asked to wait 14 days until you can be seen. This is for the safety of you and other patients.

We are happy to answer any questions that you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you and every patient safe in our practice. We thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back!

Sincerely,

Donald R. Kacy, DDS
